Copa Do Mundo Samba

from Pigeons and Purgatory by Thomas Clarke

/

about

This bouncy Samba track was composed by Thomas Clarke in July 2014, and was the first track he produced in Colorado. It was partially inspired by the 2014 World Cup in Brazil (hence the Portuguese title). Another influence was the 1990s Stadium House sub-genre, which is why there is continuous crowd sampling and vocals throughout the song, which despite the sounds was not recorded live.

lyrics

none except for crowd noises and "ole, ole ole!"
