Memories (Or Lack Thereof)

from Heaven, Hell, and Rockaway by Thomas Clarke

/

about

The inspirations for this tech house song were Thomas Clarke's Godparents Sally and Larry Bowling, who years ago were active and vital adults, but who by the time of composition were seriously ill and in a nursing home. The beginning and end of this song reflect sad beats for the present and future, while the bouncier middle point of the song (the “Memories”) reflect a happier mood.
